Who Decides: Have your say on planning in Broxbourne

Overview

From 31 October 2026, the Government imposed new rules on who decides planning applications across the country, including in Broxbourne. Additionally, broader factors have changed how planning decisions have to be made in our area. 

We want to know what you understand about Broxbourne’s planning process, including these rules. 

The survey has five questions, plus the opportunity for you to send a question to Council Leader, Councillor Corina Gander and Councillor Paul Mason, Cabinet Member for Planning, who will answer residents’ questions live on the Council’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
