Broxbourne Local Plan - Call for Sites Autumn 2025

Closes 7 Jan 2026

Opened 5 Nov 2025

Overview

In September 2025, Broxbourne Council agreed to progress with a new Local Plan for the Borough. The Council is therefore inviting landowners and others with an interest in the development of specific areas of land to propose sites for inclusion within the Local Plan.

All sites received through the process will be assessed by the Council before any decisions are made as to whether each one is suitable, available and deliverable (or developable) and therefore appropriate to allocate within the Local Plan. The promotion of a site through this assessment process does not imply or guarantee any allocation or designation, nor does it imply or guarantee that planning permission will be granted.

General Data Protection Regulations: The information collected is necessary to consider your site as part of evidence base for the Broxbourne Local Plan. The information you provide may be made available publicly, subject to the protection and redaction of your personal data.
